Alexandria Bay is tucked away from the crowds in the middle of Noosa National Park. Perhaps that’s why it attracts a few of the local nature lovers (i.e. nudists), because of its remoteness.
A-Bay face directly to the East, so is the swell magnet of the area. Left and right beachies breaking over a sandy bottom.
Compared to the other breaks in the area, this wave is a lot more powerful regardless of the size. Best at around 6 feet, this is a wave for those who want a bit more punch, plus a bit of an adventure.
Accessible from Sunshine Beach (take McNally Drive then walk through the bush track), or from the opposite side, walking from the main car park at Noosa National Park.
