Johnsons – Surf break overview

The second point in the series of point breaks that wrap around Noosa’s National Park, Johnsons is slightly more powerful than First Point (the first point in the series).

This a right hander that peels along a sandy/rocky bottom. Best a low tide (it gets pretty full at high tide) in swells between 2-4 feet.

It’s a fairly easy wave, not too heavy, to suit most levels – if you can handle the crowds that is. Like everywhere in Noosa, this place gets super busy whenever there is the slightest hint of a wave, particularly with longboarders who come from far and wide in their Kombis and stay all day.
