The second point in the series of point breaks that wrap around Noosa’s National Park, Johnsons is slightly more powerful than First Point (the first point in the series).
This a right hander that peels along a sandy/rocky bottom. Best a low tide (it gets pretty full at high tide) in swells between 2-4 feet.
It’s a fairly easy wave, not too heavy, to suit most levels – if you can handle the crowds that is. Like everywhere in Noosa, this place gets super busy whenever there is the slightest hint of a wave, particularly with longboarders who come from far and wide in their Kombis and stay all day.
