The Sunshine Coast is home to many stretches of long sandy beaches, vibrant coastal towns and a laid-back vibe. A haven for long-boarders, with plenty of sandy point breaks, softer beachbreaks, though be warned, when the swell builds (like during the cyclone season in late summer), Sunshine Coast beaches aren’t for the faint hearted.
Gets quite crowded during school holiday periods, as people venture from the southern parts of Australia to soak up Queensland’s tropical weather and sun.
