Alexandra Headland – Surf break overview

Alexandra Headland is at the South end of Maroochydore beach.

Alex offers a choice of a short left or right beach break over sand, with a few rocks thrown in here and there for good measure.

The headland itself, a tiny bit further south, is known as the Bluff, also offers a pretty soft right-hand point break that the longboarders love. The Bluff holds big swells, but of course, is almost always crowded.
