Coogee Beach often only offers a shorebreak, if anything, but once every 3 or 4 months this place will get gnarly when the weather churns up some swell.
The novelty of surfing this place when it is big (considering it generally is not surfable the rest of the time) is enough to put a smile on your dial, even if the wave isn’t ever really perfect.
