Cottesloe – Surf break overview

Cottesloe is a quiet little stretch of beach in Perth with a few good pubs and some equally good backpacker’s hostels almost right on the beach.

As far as waves go, the left at the end of the groyne gets pretty good in big SW swells.

There’s also a nice little right that breaks off the pylon. There’s a couple of reef breaks to the south if the swell gets over 2m. Cottesloe Beach gets pretty crowded, so be careful.
