The nearby creek mouth from Lake Currimundi means a fair bit of sand moves around on Currimumdi Beach. The result – often there are nicely formed banks producing some nice peaky waves. Quite a powerful beach break, and starts to close out over 6 feet. Gets a little bit crowded when the surf is on here, so for a few less people, you could try Wurtulla just to the North of Currimundi.
