Double Island Point – Surf break overview

Double Island Point is North of Noosa. You can either get the ferry over from Noosa and drive up 80km along Teewah Beach, or take the drive from Rainbow Beach which is about the same distance to the north of Double.

Double Island Point is a sweet setup. Uncrowded due to the accessibility (by 4WD only), it’s a nice long right-hand point over a sandy bottom. If you get a decent wave the best thing to do is walk back along the beach instead of paddle all the way back.

Gets the best when the swell is from the east.
