A long beach with plenty little peaky beach breaks to go around. The bottom is mostly sand, though there’s the odd rocky patchy so be cautious. Quality depends on how the sand has moved to create decent banks, but Maroochy can hold 6-8 foot of swell and prefers the E & SE swells.
