Great place to surf. Crowds are minimal and plenty of peaks to choose from. Very consistent left and rights breaking over sand and rock.
Surfable up to 15 feet, though for the average Joe (or Joette!) it’s often great at 3-6 feet.
For the bodyboarders or kamikaze stand-ups, there’s often a heavy shorey to have fun with.
The northern end is protected from NE winds in summer, so the crowds do increase during this period.
